Christmas is a time when sport, community and generosity naturally come together. It is also a time when the work of charities supporting children and families becomes even more important.

This year, Appin Sports will be making a £500 donation to Cash for Kids, a charity that is close to our hearts.

Cash for Kids provides practical support to children and families who are facing some incredibly tough circumstances, including poverty, illness, neglect or additional needs.

Why Cash for Kids matters to us

Our connection with Cash for Kids is not new. Over the past two years, Appin’s founder, Damien, has taken on a series of ultra-marathon challenges to raise money for the charity. These involved long days, tough weather and plenty of uncomfortable miles, all in support of a cause that genuinely matters.

Those runs were not about medals or personal bests. They were about raising funds and awareness for children and families who need support the most. That personal commitment is why Cash for Kids continues to be a charity we are proud to support.

A small thank you, with a bigger purpose

As a business rooted in grassroots sport, we are fortunate to work with clubs, teams and event organisers who give huge amounts of time and energy to their communities. This donation is a small way of saying thank you, while also supporting a charity that aligns closely with the values we see across grassroots sport every day.

We’re proud to support Cash for Kids this Christmas and the important work they do.
