1. What is Custom Kit?

Custom kit is sportswear made to order in your colours, with your logos, names and numbers built into the design. Some suppliers use the term for off- the-shelf kit that’s simply decorated. True custom kit, like ours, is created from scratch for a unique, professional look.

4. What is Sublimation?

Sublimation is a printing method that embeds dye into the fabric. It allows unlimited colour and detailed, all-over designs that stay vibrant, without fading, cracking or peeling

5. Can I order custom teamwear for other sports?

Yes. We make custom kit for a wide range of sports from football and running to cycling, badminton, lawn bowls and more.

6. Can I order unbranded custom kit?

Unfortunately we can’t offer samples due to the fact that everything we do is made to order.

7. Can I get samples?

We hold a very limited number of samples. If you’re placing a larger order, we can provide size samples on request, subject to a refundable deposit

8. Where is Appin Sports based?

Appin Sports is based in the UK and supplies customers across the country and worldwide.

9. Who do you supply to?

We supply football clubs and teams, running clubs, charities, corporates, schools and universities — plus event organisers and anyone needing quality custom teamwear or merchandise.

10. Do you have any sustainability initiatives?

Yes. We offer recycled fabric options in selected product ranges and continue to develop sustainable materials and packaging where possible.

Ordering & Payment

1. What is the minimum order quantity for custom kit?

The minimum initial order for most sublimated teamwear is 15 pieces per design. After that, there’s no minimum for repeat or top-up orders whether through your Club Shop or directly with us. Other products, such as screen-printed finisher T-shirts and event merchandise have different minimums. Please check the appropriate product page or contact us for full details.

2. How do I place an order?

You can order by phone or email. If your team has a Club Shop, you can place top-up or repeat orders directly there. If you’ve used our Kit Designer, we’ll confirm your order by email (or by phone if you prefer).

3. What is your order process?

Our order process is simple:
1. Share your design.
2.We will confirm details and send you a quote.
3. Once approved and paid, your kit goes into production. You can see the full step-by-step guide on our Order Process page.

4. Can I mix and match sizes?

Yes. You can order a mix of sizes as long as the design is the same and the total meets the minimum order quantity.

5. Can I change my order after I have paid?

No. Changes aren’t possible once your order has gone into production. Please check all details carefully before paying to avoid delays or issues.

6. How do I pay for my custom kit order?

We accept most UK debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club and Discover. You can also pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay. All Club Shop payments are securely processed through Stripe. See our Delivery & Returns page for full payment option details.

7. Is VAT included in my order?

Yes. VAT is included on all UK and EU orders. In the UK, youth sizes are zero-rated. For orders outside these regions, any taxes or duties will be collected by your courier.

8. Is there a discount for ordering large quantities?

Yes. Our prices are lower for larger orders because set-up and production costs are shared across more garments. For very large orders, contact us for a tailored quote.

9. Can I reorder a design?

Yes. Your design is stored digitally and will never be discontinued, so you can reorder whenever you need. Many teams also use our Club Shop for quick and easy repeat orders.

10. How much does personalisation cost?

Personalisation (names/numbers) is included in the price of our custom football jerseys and many football garments. For other products, it’s available on request. Contact us for details.

1. How long does delivery take?

We recommend allowing around 6 weeks from order confirmation to delivery. Timings can vary depending on the time of year, but we’ll keep you updated on progress. Learn more on our Order Process page

2. Can I fast-track my delivery?

No. All custom kit is made to order, so we can’t offer fast-track delivery. We’ll always keep you updated and let you know as soon as your order is ready to dispatch.

4. Can I track my order?

5. Which countries do you deliver to?

6. My order is running late. What should I do?

7. How are customs and duties handled for international orders?

Any taxes or import duties outside the UK / EU are collected by your courier when your order arrives. For more information, see our Delivery & Returns page.

Returns & Refunds

1. What is your refund policy?

We are unable to offer refunds on any made-to-order or personalised garment unless the garment is faulty or not as ordered.

2. Can I cancel my order?

Once your order is in production, it can’t be cancelled. If you need to make a change before production starts, please contact us as soon as possible.

3. Can I exchange my custom kit or Club Shop order?

Because all custom kit are made to order, we can’t offer exchanges unless the item is faulty or not as ordered.

4. What should I do if my custom kit order doesn’t fit?

Please use our Size Guides before placing your order, or ask our team for advice if you’re unsure. As garments are made to order, we can’t offer size exchanges.

5. What should I do if my order is wrong or there are missing items?

If your order arrives with something missing or not as ordered, please contact us straight away and we’ll resolve it for you.

6. What should I do if there’s a problem with my order?

If something isn’t right with your order, such as a fault, missing item or misprint, please email our team within 7 days with your order number and photos. We’ll review it promptly and arrange a replacement or refund if applicable.

Design & Customisation

1. How can I design a custom kit?

You have two options:

1. Use our free online Kit Designer to create your own kit, choosing colours, patterns and logos at your own pace.

2. For more support, our design team can create a bespoke design for you. See our Artwork & Design guide for details.

2. How does your Kit Designer work?

Our Kit Designer lets you choose from 100+ templates, pick colours, add club crests or sponsor logos, and even upload your own patterns.

3. Can you create a design for me?

Yes. Our design team can work with you to turn your ideas into a finished kit, whether that’s developing a concept from scratch or refining an existing design. Design work may be chargeable, and costs depend on the level of support required. Full details are explained in our Artwork & Design Guide.

4. Can I add logos, sponsors, names and numbers to my kit?

Yes. Logos and sponsors can be added to all custom kit. Names, initials and numbers are included as standard in most of our football range, and can be added to running and other sports kit on request. 5. My logo has a white background. How do I remove it?
